Released today at StupidKrap is a new signed serigraph print by Australian artist Anthony Lister. Entitled 'Chopper', the piece is priced at $100 AUD (+ $20 international postage) and comes in an edition of 100 pieces, 5 of which come packaged with a custom Lister meat cleaver (price for cleaver edition is $200). The piece is a version of the Australian $100 bill customised in the Lister spirit to the theme of celebrity underworld figure Mark 'Chopper' Read. Chopper and Anthony Lister shared a brief friendship during which Lister painted several portaits of the Bad-Guy. This lasted until a money-lending incident went dangerously awry, ending with Chopper $100 in Lister's debt. Hence, the $100 Lister Chopper currency - it's payback time
