Starting May 2nd at the Anno Domini Gallery (California) is 'fim do mundo', the US solo exhibition debut from Stephen Doitschinoff a.k.a. Calma.
Stephan Doitschinoff (aka CALMA) is a self-taught artist based in Bahia and Sao Paulo, Brazil.The show is to run until the 21st of June, visit the AD Gallery website for more details.
Looking to Brazilian folklore and Baroque religious imagery, as well as Alchemical and Pagan symbols, Stephan has created his own unique language and style which embraces his influences and lets them evolve naturally into his own autobiographical work by combining them with his roots in urban art and Pop culture.
